this week was amazingly productive! i rearranged my room with G, looked at some houses to rent/own, almost everything BUT go to the gym :P this past tuesday there was a meteor shower & i wanted to be sure i remembered this website. tuesday night, cesar tony crystal mike g & i were at red rock canyon looking for meteors. we ended up finding a good 75-90 meteors :) i felt so relaxed & peaceful! as corny as it sounds, i missed going to red rock with G.. and i missed taking my astronomy classes. its a crazy feeling knowing how you can SEE history. some of those stars in the sky arent really there anymore.. and thinking about how there can be form of life in another galaxy is amazing :D i love thinking about things that are out there, instead of worrying about whats going on here on earth. does that make sense? it relaxes me, lol.. i cant wait to teach & read more about the galaxies... constellations & astronomy blow my mind <3

geez. its been almost a year since ive posted anything :) well this past week ive been trying to "clean" and rearrange the junk in my room. im getting better @ throwing things away & putting things where they should be. of course, lots of crazy things have happened since my last post.. arnolds having a baby in a couple days! kimiko is 2, my cousin is a klepto, dad was in the philippines ... everything else is in my planner. so anyway! the whole point of this blog is to remind myself of all of the things ive found while i was cleaning :)
friday i was looking through all of my old pay-stubs from hollister & banana.. wow hco sucked! lol.. but my banana folder was nice to look throuh. i spent 3 good years of my working with great friends & meeting my forever love!! :) had to throw that out there, hehe.. so i found the contact numbers of the staff & i tried to text them, but no reply :( i miss hanging out with everyone back then! when i went to the outlets the week before, it made me sad because i know all of us wont be together like that again. everything looks so different, the staff is younger & we cant play our own cds custom banana playlists :P i have a good amount of pictures from work, postcards for friends & family, plenty of lanyards, even the schedules we had printed out every week... so much JUNK! lol
todaaay i did most of the rearranging. i took a "before" picture too. i moved my shelf to the left side of my room & tomorrow G will help me move my bed back to its original spot :P my bed is so big it feels like im never gona have enough space in my room! so im cleaning, trying to toss all my old makeup that i used in high school & toss the old pens.. i have a nice pile of junk that im ready to toss, but im always going back to this computer to figure out if i can recycle it <3 H E R E it is! i tried to recycle the old lip gloss that i have, but i wont be having little girls play with it & i wont be painting anytime soon :P and as far as recycling pens... im going to send it to a guy who collects old pens. woo hoo!!! i dont know why im such a pack rat, but when im ready to toss everything, i know it can be put to good use somewhere else :) i know mike & G think im crazy because im always talking about recycling.. but i know im not the only one out there <3
another thing i was looking at while i was cleaning was this book that i bought about a year ago? i was @ urban outfitters and theres a book called "the big-ass book of crafts" by mark montano. amazing book that i will be stuck on when i move out of this house :D ive been so broke, im looking into selling or trying to return all the stuff i bought, & that book always stared at me cause i used the receipt as a bookmark [yea, thats me. whack. lol].. so when i open the book im thinking *man, how much did i pay for this freakin book---ohhh snap thats freakin awesome* and thats when i looked through the book all over again. hahaha.. so once im done REAALLY CLEANiNG, ill be all up on that :)

september 6th, my first weekend without anyone in chicago. relaxing? not really. this was my first week in school & G is back from miami.. abbie is here & i was suppose to hang out with her tonight, but here i am. i curled my hair around 9pm & when i finished curling my hair it was already 1015.. ive been taking my sweet time & now im here not knowing what to do, haha. ryan said he was going to mad mattys & i told him id meet him as soon as i found something to wear. i think a good 20 minutes ago i found something to wear.. i have a good feeling im not doing anything tonight because of this whole month of august. im broke!
i was telling G that ive been stressed & not in a partying mood cause i dont have any money. as much as ive been out this past month ive been torturing myself going out with no cash or feeling cheap about eeeverything. since ive had my share of restaurant knowledge i like tipping people =) aaand i like making sure people have a good time when im with them especially if theyre from out of town. it just sucks knowing in the back of my mind that i really am broke! i told myself that i wont go out unless someones in town. but now that everyone from chicago left, everyone from cali is coming... not cool =P vegas will always be like this & im just gona have to hibernate until i know ill have more money in my pocket. mik said im being too nice for taking people out all the time. its true! i forget about what i need to do & its something i MUST do during this fall semester of school. i need to get this over with so i can travel & run get away from EVERYONE. haha.. sorry guys!
i wrote a paragraph of what ive been feeling, but i erased it. if you happen to cross Thank you and you're welcome by kanye west with j. sakiya sandifer, it covers some stuff ive been thinking about =)

Hi everyone!! it seems like forever since ive written in here =) right now im at FontaineBleau hotel at miami beach. the view is awesome from the 14th floor! i recorded some video in the day/night from the balcony, so ill post that up as soon as i get back home. ill put more info about the hotel once i let you know how this past month has been.. if you dont wana read the boring part just skip this following loong paragraph. haha
most of you could recall my 23rd birthday, & it wasnt anything fancy. i had a basketball theme, cake & kalbi, hehe.. just close friends, real simple compared to my toga party & pool shindig the past two years. so after my bday i really dont remember much! i was working at japonais, then quit about 3 weeks ago. i found out that G got a job offer here in miami, so i decided to quit since i have a lot of chicago friends coming in this summer. everything got wild with him clearing out his apartment, taking care of paper work for his new job in miami, new condo, everrything! as the time was getting closer for us driving to miami, i felt like any other girlfriend.. veery emotionaal =/ and i hate thinking about that terrible time when he drops me off to the airport, not seeing each other every day.. ugh. hes going to be in miami for a year, help michael mac [now the director of beverage @ fb] & make him look good, so when fb opens in vegas, they can have a chance to maaybe make G a higher position, when he moves back. and im quoting G on this!! he said "if all goes well in the next two years, maybe we can get married" =D aibsfaksfbnklaf haha.. we all know one year goes by quick enough, shoot! were already halfway through 2008! but anyway, this one year apart will make us both do something that will only make our relationship stronger & do what we need to do on our own time. i quit my job earlier than i thought, but i told myself that i would quit before school starts so i can finish my associates degree. by that time it should be spring, G will know his schedule at work & maybe i can stay here in miami until he moves back! sighh.. if only it was as easy as it is typing, right? blaaaah.
ill be blogging a lot more now that im jobless =P ill be cleaning my house & going to the gym with neil, yaay! im excited to do the things i havent had time for.. put use in all my scrapbooking junk too. yup.. so heres some info from the FontaineBleau directory i was looking at since ive been in this room for the past 2-3 days. most of this is just reference for me, but this is what blogs are for eh? har har
The FontaineBleau-- Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow The year was 1954. Safeway Air Travel advertised $35 flights to New York. Beauty salons charged $7.50 for permanents. Gasoline was 29 cents a gallon. And the Fontainebleau first opened its doors in Miami Beach. Overnight it became the premier resort on the east coast. From its 230 yards of beautiful oceanfront, elevated swimming pool overlooking the beach, 250 cabanas, hydraulically controlled dance floor and an exciting array of dining and entertainment venues, the Fontainebleau created excitement throughout the country. The resort sits on the site of the former Harvey Firestone mansion, which President Warren G. Harding, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford and other luminaries visited as guests. In fact, the Fontainebleau was built atop the remains of the landmark 1920's mansion-- evidence from the outset that this would be no ordinary hotel. Through the years, the Fontainebleau reigned as the top resort hotel in one of the nation's most popular and famous resort destinations. The Fontainebleau was Miami Beach. Presidents stayed while in South Florida, "Goldfinger", "The BodyGuard", "Tony Roma" and "Bellboy" were filmed here and top entertainers visited often, including Elvis Presley, Bob Hope, Lucille Ball, Jackie Gleason, Judy Garland, Milton Berle, Jerry Lewis, Debbie Reynolds and Sammy Davis Jr. Today the Fontainebleau Resort, a luxurious modern 37-tower operates on the southern end of the resort property. Additional suite accommodations will be available with the completion of the Fontainebleau Ocean Club in 2007. In early 2006, the original 51-year-old landmark Fontainebleau Resort closed its doors and is now undergoing a $400 million renovation and expansion project. the renovations will restore much of the vision of its original architect, Morris Lapidus, bringing back such features as the marble floors and columns and the grand staircase, while creating one of Miami's most stimulating and sizzling interior design treatments. But the highlight of the new Fontainebleau will be its dining and entertainment venues which will surpass any other oceanfront resort in the country. And, as it did in 1954, the Fontainebleau as "the crown jewel of Miami Beach", will be the place to see and, be seen.

woops! im suppose to be @ the elementary school right now but ill just go to the 1140 class :P i kept hitting snooze so here i am looking @ all the bills im getting ready to pay for, booo!! between the bills, i read nicolles bulletin & she posted this~
Dear Red States...
We've decided we're leaving. We intend to form our own country, and we're taking the other Blue States with us.
In case you aren't aware, that includes Hawaii, Oregon,Washington, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois and all the Northeast. We believe this split will be beneficial to the nation, and especially to the people of the new country of New California.
To sum up briefly: You get Texas, Oklahoma and all the slave states. We get stem cell research and the best beaches. We get Elliot Spitzer. You get Ken Lay.
We get the Statue of Liberty. You get Dollywood. We get Intel and Microsoft. You get WorldCom. We get Harvard. You get Ole' Miss. We get 85 percent of America's venture capital and entrepreneurs. You get Alabama. We get two-thirds of the tax revenue, you get to make the red states pay their fair share.
Since our aggregate divorce rate is 22 percent lower than the Christian Coalition's, we get a bunch of happy families. You get a bunch of single moms.
Please be aware that Nuevo California will be pro-choice and anti-war, and we're going to want all our citizens back from Iraq at once. If you need people to fight, ask your evangelicals. They have kids they're apparently willing to send to their deaths for no purpose, and they don't care if you don't show pictures of their children's caskets coming home. We do wish you success in Iraq, and hope that the WMDs turn up, but we're not willing to spend our resources in Bush's Quagmire.
With the Blue States in hand, we will have firm control of 80 percent of the country's fresh water, more than 90 percent of the pineapple and lettuce, 92 percent of the nation's fresh fruit, 95 percent of America's quality wines (you can serve French wines at state dinners) 90 percent of all cheese, 90 percent of the high tech industry, most of the U.S. low-sulfur coal, all living redwoods, sequoias and condors, all the Ivy and Seven Sister schools, plus Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Cal Tech and MIT.
With the Red States, on the other hand, you will have to cope with 88 percent of all obese Americans (and their projected health care costs), 92 percent of all U.S. mosquitoes, nearly 100 percent of the tornadoes, 90 percent of the hurricanes, 99 percent of all Southern Baptists, virtually 100 percent of all televangelists, Rush Limbaugh, Bob Jones University, Clemson and the University of Georgia.
We get Hollywood and Yosemite, thank you.
Additionally, 38 percent of those in the Red states believe Jonah was actually swallowed by a whale, 62 percent believe life is sacred unless we're discussing the death penalty or gun laws, 44 percent say that evolution is only a theory, 53 percent that Saddam was involved in 9/11 and 61 percent of you crazy bastards believe you are people with higher morals then we lefties.
By the way, we're taking the good pot, too. You can have that dirt weed they grow in Mexico.
Peace out, Blue States
